after an entire summer, I finally got to see the Tut exhibit at de Young and it was nothing short of amazing!! I think one of the biggest mind trips was how well some of the pieces had been restored; and this is horrible, but at times, I imagined what it'd be like to have such a piece to furnish my room. (sad face)
unlike the exhibit that toured in '79, Tut's sarcophagus and headpiece were not showcased, but since I wasnt lucky enough to be around for that show...this one was a ten!!

He has the most adorable smile that just lights up his entire face.

I just spent the past hour scribbling onto paper the drippings of my head- something I havent done in a long while.
I'm beginning to wish that I could hold off on meeting some of the people that I've been getting to know until I'm less lost. I'm embarrassed that the first side of me that they're getting to know is this spacecase who is more often than not, upset about something or another and distracted.
I wish I could put on some happy pants and just wing it but I cant seem to find them in the clutter of my room.
